The French Connection: The Lob Family’s Sorrow and Triumph. (Holocaust Education Week)

Description Marcel and Mana Lob, both French Holocaust Survivors met after liberation, married and raised a family. Their experiences during the war along with family members who did not survive are explored. What it was like to grow up with parents who were Auschwitz Survivors in France during the 1950s and 1960s is also revealed. Hosted by Gerard Lob, a 2nd Generation child of Holocaust Survivors, Marcel and Mana Lob. He was born and raised in France, immigrated to the United States in 1974 and works as a French/English interpreter. This event is part of Holocaust Education Week, a community-wide program of the Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach, a Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation. All events are free of charge and open to the public.
